General Description:
The following error message appears when invoking the CORE Generator
application:
"Error creating log file coregen.log."
Solution 1:
On PC's:
coregen.log is created in the $XILINX\coregen\tmp directory.
- Check for write permissions on the $XILINX/coregen/tmp directory.
- Check that the disk on which your copy of COREGen is installed is not full
- Check for a pre-existing coregen.log file in $XILINX/coregen/tmp which does
have write permissions
Solution 2:
On Workstations:
coregen.log is created in the directory from which you invoke COREGen.
- Check for write permissions in the directory from which you invoked COREGen.
- Check that the disk on which your copy of COREGen is installed is not full
- Check for a pre-existing coregen.log file in the directory in which you invoked
COREGen which does have write permissions
