The Integrated Electronics Technical Business Unit (EI) is a Thomson-CSF Detexis
organization, specialized in integrated circuits development. EI provides expertise

Specialization
A workforce consisting of approximately 60 people, based in Saint-Quentin en Yvelines,
France, is specialized in microelectronics activities such as:

- ASIC and FPGA requirements, feasibility evaluation and development
- Architecture definition and optimization
- Reliability, safety and testability analysis
- Library development (analog & digital)
- Behavioral modeling (VHDL / Verilog)
- Simulation
- Logic synthesis
- Place and route
- Validation, test and characterization

- Production follow-up and obsolescence management
- Methodology development
Thomson-CSF Detexis has developed more than 600 ASIC and 200 FPGA in a very large
spectrum of fields :
- Signal processing,
- Microcontroller (SPARC),
- Computers and networks,
- Telecommunications.
All the standard commercial CAD tools are available to help the designers to increase
the performances and to reduce the time-to-market and the cost of these developments.
To complete this offer, test tools, based on HP82000 and Teradyne J967 testers, are
available and can be activated in a very short time to complete the knowledge of
the new components (characterization) or to understand a default (debugging).
