In today's increasingly global market, Frontec participates in numerous projects
throughout the world, including Scandinavia, Germany, France, Italy, and Australia.
Frontec Microelectronics located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, and Växjö
is the largest player in the Scandinavian market for ASIC/FPGA design services. With
more than fifty designers, Frontec Microelectronics provides its customers with professional
design capabilities to shorten their time-to-market cycle.
The company has been in the hardware consulting business since 1981. The first Xilinx
schematic design based on the Viewlogic tools was done in the beginning of 1987;
HDL-based design for FPGAs and ASICs was started in 1989.
Frontec specializes in field programmable logic devices (FPGAs) and large complex
customised devices (ASICs). To offer customers complete product design services other
divisions within Frontec provide services in areas such as embedded software, board
design, real-time OS, C, C++, and Java.

Xilinx Design Experience
Frontec has over 12 years of experience in designs on the following Xilinx FPGAs:

We are typically involved in approximately 10-15 customer designs per year.
