Overview
Gate Electronics was founded in 1991 by technical engineers who recognized the
potential of FPGA based designs. Since then, designs were made for all kinds of industries
including communication, process control applications and medical instrumentation.
Almost all designs were made using Xilinx FPGA’s.
In 1995 Gate Electronics was incorporated by Cardio Control NV, the goal was to produce
medical devices using modern components and design techniques. By combining the knowledge
and experience of Gate Electronics for designing electronic equipment with the medical
knowledge of Cardio Control, a new product line was developed.

- Encryption FPGA for satellite radio
- FPGA for wireless LAN
- FPGA for communication involving conference networks
- Signal processing:
- Digital IIR, FIR filtering
