Recorded E-Learnings are available in 3 different
media formats. The format you choose depends on which software
you have installed:
Real Audio - This format streams the audio
to your PC and automatically synchronizes the content via the
browser. This is the recommended format for its quality and performance.
This format may take a minute to load due to buffering. The Real
Audio player must be installed to use this format. Get
Real Audio.
Please note: Real Player may require a special
setup with firewalls.
MS Media Player- This format, like Real Audio,
streams the audio to your PC and automatically synchronizes the
content via the browser. The Microsoft Media Player must be installed
to use this format. Get
MS Media Player. Please note: MS Media Player may require
a special setup with firewalls.
Placeware - This internet format does not
stream the audio, rather the user downloads each sequential audio
segment related to the slides. This format only requires a java
enable browser (no other player software) and is the default format
for those without Real Audio or MS Media Player installed.
