Overview
Applied Micro Technology Inc., an Electronics Development and Manufacturing company
in business since 1973, provides their customers with a variety of custom microcomputer
designs and medium scale production. Their core business in High Speed Digital Data
Broadcasting Systems.
Applied Micro Technology is currently using Xilinx Series 3000, 4000, and
5000 devices in their VBI Data Recovery Modules and Series 9000 devices in a Diesel
Engine Generator State Controller.
Specialization
Major technologies outside of their core business have included controllers for
diesel powered electric generators, large industrial air compressor and vacuum control
systems for the industrial and medical markets, 480 volt 3 phase motor controllers,
variable electrical power duty cycle controllers, electronic controls for central
pivot and linear irrigation systems, monitors and controllers for dairy product storage
facilities, laboratory water purification systems, central controlling and monitoring
systems for commercial batting cage complexes, PTT and VOX controllers, and remote
engine diagnostic systems for the marine industry.
Applied Micro Technology's customers are drawn from the Telecommunications, Medical
Electronics, Agribusiness, Enterainment, and Industrial Marketplaces. Their design
capabilities utilize state-of the-art digital technologies which allow them to achieve
miniaturization and reliability, providing cost effective solutions to applications
from a wide variety of customers.
