Overview
Rising Edge Technology provides consulting services to the electronics and computer
programming industry. Rising Edge Technology specializes in system development, providing
ground up design of micro-electronics, to system firmware and Windows software.
Hardware designs are developed full CAE/CAD software for both schematics and printed
circuit board layout. FPGA and CPLD can also be designed using Xilinx development
software.Software designs for Windows environments are developed using Microsoft's
Visual Basic. Firmware designs specialize in the Intel 8051 family of microcontrollers.
Applications and Clients
Electronics design applications specializing in micro-electronics include motherboards
based on Intel microcontrollers, interface cards for PC applications as well as stand-alone
interfaces and sequencers. Xilinx FPGA and CPLD technology is used in logic designs
to increase design density, system reliability, and reduce cost and device count.
Windows software designs include scientific instrument controls and communications.Firmware
designs include BIOS and control programs for electronic instrumentation.
