ASIC Cost
Estimator: WebACETM
Welcome to the automated program for modeling costs
associated with FPGA or ASIC development. Input your own costs, trade-offs,
and development schedules to determine breakeven levels for your volumes,
costs, and schedules.
Notes:

WebACE requires a browser that is Java 1.1 compliant. Version 4.0 (or later)
of either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer works. Your
browser must have Java enabled.

WebACE also uses JavaScript to save the results of your ASIC-estimator
data on your hard disk via "cookies." If your browser has JavaScript
disabled, WebACE still runs correctly, but you are not able to save your
results.

WebACE is a large Java applet. Depending on the speed of your Web connection,
it might take from 15 seconds to a few minutes to download, so please be
patient. Enabling the program cache on your browser ensures a faster load
the next time you run the WebACE applet.
The WebACE program is based on a number of industry standard cost and time-to-market
models.
