If you find that you need to return repeatedly to a specific area of a schematic page, or if you need to direct attention to a particular location, a bookmark is very convenient. When you set a bookmark, you assign it a name. You can then use the to return to the location, and you can use the bookmark name to direct another member of your team to the location.
To place a bookmark
- From the Place menu, choose the .
- Enter the name of the bookmark, then click OK.
- Position the pointer where you want to place the bookmark and click the left mouse button. The bookmark appears in the selection color.
- Choose End Mode from the right mouse button pop-up menu.
- Click an area where there are no parts or objects to deselect the bookmark.
To rename a bookmark
- Select the bookmark.
- Choose Edit – Properties. The appears.
- Enter a new name in the text box, then click OK.
