The various postings to DCWG I have received so far included only
Enrico's powerpoint of his methodology and concepts. I would greatly
appreciate a pointer to the rest of materials for instance you covered
on the 4/15 telecon (I was tied up all that period with a major
program review here.) Thanks much for your help.
BTW, I think that your group is already very much on track to the
exactly the same interests we have here in our SEMATECH CHDS and CHDStd
program re constraints...and you seem to have been very successful
in pulling together some very good workers.
I plan to turn all of my own personal activities in this constraints
area in thru your DCWG as it looks like the right spot to make real
progress. We have a strong focus in CHDS, as you may know, on very
accurate early and post-physical timing calculation and constraints
for 180nm and below, and are addressing power by following the DPCS
activity. This effort should be much more unifying for dealing with
all the rest of the constraints that should drive down thru the design
process. I am especially pleased to see your group trying to identify
the real mechanisms and semantics that underly our normally-adhoc
constraints activities.
