DC-WG: OVI TCC Posistion Statement

Dear DCWG members,
OVI supports open and publicly owned standards. The activity of this
committee is important for the industry to foster industry innovation
from system level down to physical implementation layers. The latest
announcement by Synopsys on synthesis constraints, should not affect
our important activity. Many of the other industry standard bodies are
well in support of our activities (ECSSE and ASIC Council). We need to
stay focused and continue on our activity which is based on public and
open.
The current roadmap with dictionary and language development for
constraints are important outcome of this group. We need to show
progress.
We plan to share our progress at FDL 98
I will join in at the start of the meeting.
