Members of the IEEE 1850 PSL Working Group,
On Tuesday October 12, at 8am-10am PDT, instead of a regularly scheduled working group meeting, we will hold a meeting of the Issues subcommittee. The purpose of the meeting will be to come up with a proposed prioritization and disposition of the issues, to be presented to the working group at the next regularly scheduled working group meeting (on October 19). All working group participants are welcome to participate in the Issues subcommittee. Note, however, that attendance or lack thereof will not affect voting rights, since this is not a working group meeting.
In preparation for this meeting, please review the Issues list posted on the web page, at the following URL:
http://www.eda.org/ieee-1850/docs/Issues.doc
Make a list reflecting the priorities of each issue as you see them. Assign each issue on the list a relative priority between 1 and 5, where 1 means lowest priority, and 5 means highest priority. If you believe we should not address a given issue at all, give it a priority of 0. If you believe a given issue is a simple correction or clarification that should go immediately to the LRM subcommittee, then identify the issue as an "LRM" issue. Please forward your list to me (erichm@cadence.com) by end of the day Monday Oct 11. I will accumulate all the responses and present them at the meeting on Tuesday.
For consistency, and to make it easier for me to process the data, please format your list as follows:
<issue #> <priority> <LRM?>
For example,
1. 5
2. 3
3. 4 LRM
4. 0
5. 1
etc.
We will use the following phone numbers for the teleconference on Tuesday:
US Toll-Free: 877-634-9660
International: 203-566-6784
Passcode: 727384
Regards,
Erich
