[$ieee-1850] P1850/D8 Ballot Approved

Dear Working Group,

The P1850/D8 LRM has been approved.   The LRM source files have now  
been handed off to the IEEE tech-editors to prepare for final  
publication and RevCom review.  The next step in the standardization  
process is the project submittal to the RevCom Standards Board for  
final approval, which is scheduled during the September 22-nd meeting.

I wish to personally thank each of you for your hard work and  
dedication this past year in helping to create the PSL LRM.   We plan  
to conduct a meeting in late August to begin the process of creating  
the next version of the IEEE P1850 standard. (Details will be mailed  
out in mid-August.)
