TOPIC: IR 2115 Binding specification should be binding indication

The submitter is correct. These typos should be fixed. ISAC approved.

ACTION: Chuck to forward to VASG.


TOPIC: IR 2116 What is the direction of std_logic_vector & '0'

The direction of resulting concatenation expression is clearly stated
in the LRM in clause 7.2.4. It appears that the submitter is
misinterpreting B.15, which, in any event is non-normative.

ACTION: Peter to analyze.

TOPIC: IR 2117 Block comment is not there in vhdl

Block comments have been added to the language starting with Accellera
version D3.0.

In reviewing this a typo was discovered in Accellera version D3.4.

ACTION: Ajay to analyze. Chuck to issue Accellera Bugzilla.

TOPIC: IR 2118 Typo in 9.2 Note 2

This issue was covered in IR 2039 and has already been corrected.

ACTION: Chuck to mark as superseded.

TOPIC: IR 1070  VPI Issue 14 -- Prefixes in USE clauses

No progress.

ACTION: Peter to analyze.

TOPIC: IR 2099 Alias declarations introduce homographs

Ajay will continue his analysis.  Resolution of this IR is holding up
an Accellera Bugzilla issue Number 131.

ACTION: Peter, Lance, Larry, Ajay to vote.

TOPIC: IR 2110 Implicit subtype conversions not defined

No Progress:

ACTION: Chuck to analyze.

TOPIC: Meeting Day.

We will tentatively change our meeting day back to Thursday, so Lance
can attend.

ACTION: Chuck to check with Lance, Larry, Jim on suitability of
different days.
