Hi Jason,
Good question. Here is what I propose, but I am open to other suggestions. The vote that we will have in December is an unofficial vote. It gives us the necessary certainty that we can go ahead with the documentation work and not expect any significant upsets that would put us over budget or extend our timeline. For this vote, I will accept 1 vote from all companies that have contributed to the standard. When the reformatting work and issue resolution has been completed, then there will be an official vote to send the document to the Accellera board. This vote will be conducted by the Accellera rules, which means that you must be at least an associate member to have a vote. From our current schedule this will happen at the end of January. So if anyone wants to have a vote and is not yet an Accellera member, then you have until that time to change your status. In addition, the company must have contributed to the document, so votes will not be accepted from "new members" at that meeting. By contributing,
I mean attended at least 2 meetings (in person or on the phone) prior to that meeting.
Please let me know if anyone has an problems or issues with this.
Regards
Brian

Brian,
One of the things I forgot to ask today was the Accellera voting
rules for the meeting on Dec 3.
Could you just send a short summary of the rules for the
group?
Things like....
# of votes per company
must be Accellera member or not
must have attended certain % of meetings.
Thanks,
Jason
