Dear ITC chairs and members,
        It is my pleasure to announce that Accellera board has unanimously
approved SCE-API 1.0 as Accellera official standard on May 29, 2003.
        I want to thank everyone who worked hard in the development of this
new standard. The board expects that the ITC committee will work on the next
version using new expected donation by Axis and Cadence. Brian and I will
work together to ensure that legal technology assignment is executed first
before the committee can discuss the new donations. We will also plan to
work together and use existing interface standards that has been developed
by Accellera in the last year, namely SystemVerilog.
