Greetings ITC Techies,

I sent out an earlier e-mail about updates to the document made
before the holidays last year as per AI's. Here's a summary of
them:

- Changed terminology for transaction pipes from receive/send pipes to
input/output pipes respectively, to be consistent with SCE-MI 1
   message port macros.

- Clarified paragraphs describing blocking-only operations on pipes
on both C and HDL endpoints

- Corrected comments in function declarations from "#bits/element" to
   "#bytes/element"

- Added informational section on avoidance of namespace pollution

I also said in that e-mail that I was holding off sending a new draft
until these changes are in as I had proposed earlier and Per endorsed:

- Consolidation and cleanup of supported types section 3.1.3 on
   page 10 (Re: IM 201)

- Added section 3.5 on page 20 about rules for DPI function call
nesting and recursion as per Russ's proposal (Re: IM 202)

- Merged sections 5.1 and 6.1.2 on discussion of establishing
a time base using clock macros or other means (Re: IM 216)

I've now made those changes and have a revision 1.8 of the working
document. All changes since converting the from the "proposal"
to the "working document" are indicated with change bars.

Rather than blasting it out to everyone on the reflector, I was
thinking it would be more prudent to post it on the web site.

Brian, is it feasible to do this on the new web site ?

Should I send you the PDF so you can do it are can I update
the site directly ?
