Off the top of my head, I don't see an immediate applicability of
sc_vector here. Especially for the 'join' part, which requires
synchronisation e.g. upon destruction of the vector.
It's certainly possible to use the ideas of sc_vector (and an
appropriate sc_event_and_list) to implement this in a specific language
construct. But given the limited amount of time (and the need to keep
SC_FORK/JOIN for backwards compatibility), I would vote for deferral of
such an extension.
