Steve,
The proposal I made concerns two issues;
1 - that Verilog-AMS needs some way to do global parameters references
in order to support a common spice methodology.
I feel this is an issue that must be addressed in order to cover the
design objectives.
2 - that Verilog-AMS needs some way to identify parameters that can be
swept during simulation.
I can see that it can be argued that this is an implementation issue.
However the advantage of indicating which parameters can be sweept
and which cannot is that it is possible to do more simulation
optimizations than if it were assumed that all parameters can be sweept.
