here is my feedback on your proposal;
Section 8:

what is a neutral discipline?
why would someone want to do this?
* typo
"a analog" should be "an analog"
change bar 2:
* In terms of the definition of receiver, I would
think that the reference to the net in a block
rather than the block itself would be the receiver.
* Re para 2 and discipline resolution
A signal (or indeed node) does not end up with a
resolved discipline, rather each net that comprises
the signal or node ends up with a resolved disipline.
* typo in last paragraph, "disipline" should be
"discipline".
