I agree that this is something that needs to be added to the LRM and like Geoffrey expected this to be done in 2.3. However it now looks like there won't be a 2.3 and instead SV-AMS will be the next AMS standard released from Accellera. FYI - I will be putting this item on the Cadence requirements for SV-AMS along with other things to sync with from the Verilog2001 standard.
