The
FastFLASH family of In-System Programmable CPLDs just got better with the
recent introduction of the XC95144. The newest member of the XC9500
family completes the fastest growing line of CPLDs in the industry.
The XC95144 features 144 macrocells with fast 7.5 ns pin-to-pin delays
and is offered in 100-pin TQFP, 100-pin PQFP and 160-pin PQFP packages.
Best of all, the device fulfills the needs of designers for densities in
the 100-144 macrocell range by offering the lowest priced CPLDs in the
industry.

The XC95144 is manufactured using Xilinx’ new advanced 0.5µ FastFLASH
process that offers up to a 50% die size reductions resulting in a lower
cost. All other members of the XC9500 family
will be transitioned over to the new process by the end of 1998, thus ensuring
long-term availability of the family.
More Headroom at
a Lower Price
The 50% die size reduction also enables Xilinx to maintain its CPLD price
leadership into the future. The XC95144 offers 12% more headroom
than the competitors conventional 128-macrocell device at a 12% lower price.
The new XC95144 leads the way for the FastFLASH family with high performance,
smaller die sizes and the lowest prices in the industry. |
