Problem Description:
Because the Xilinx exclusive license does not allow access to all
Workview Office products, there is no point in installing them all.

You can either use the "OEM" keyword when asked for a serial number, or you
can choose a Custom install and select the products listed in this solution.

You know you have a Xilinx exclusive license if you see the string
VENDOR_STRING="Exclusive 38 MaxGates:0"
at the end of the license.dat file.  This also requires the EXCLUSIVE 38
line at the end of the C:\WVOFFICE\STANDARD\POWERVIE.INI file.

If you are using XACTstep6.0, don't forget to install the Viewlogic Interface
(DS-VL-PC1) from the XACTstep CD and change the target location to the
Workview Office directory!

Solution 1:

For Workview Office 7.1.2, select a Custom install and choose:

ViewDraw
ViewSim
ViewSynthesis
Other
License

and that's it.

This install will take just under 57 Meg, as opposed to the 157 Meg
of a full install.  This drops down to 31 Meg if you do not do VHDL
entry and therefore do not install Viewsynthesis.

Remember, Workview Office is completely independent of the PROseries tools,
and should installed as such.  A system with Workview Office should have NO
environment references to PROSER.



Solution 2:

For Workview Office 7.2/7.3x, select a Custom install and choose:

ViewDraw
ViewSim
ViewSynthesis
Other
License
EDIF (M1 users only)

and that's it.

This install will take just over 63 Meg, as opposed to the nearly 200 Meg
of a full install.  This drops down to 32.5 Meg if you do not do VHDL
entry and therefore do not install Viewsynthesis.
