Syntax Error

Warning: Unable to recognize top module in file:\"%name\". Possible syntax errors.

This warning appears when importing source code or running simulation. The error is caused by missing files or source code was imported before your package files.

Workaround

1. Import your package files first, if any.

2. Check the File Manager to ensure that all required files have been imported into your project. Import any missing files. From the Tools menu, click Refresh to update the Design Hierarchy, if necessary.

3. Use the HDL Syntax Checker to validate your HDL file.
