Gate Arrays/Embedded Arrays These products provide System Level Integration solutions for high volume applications, which incorporate logic, memory, analog and megacells system building blocks. Gate Arrays and Embedded Arrays are offered in a variety of geometry's and technologies to cover a broad range of customer requirements. All of Atmel's Gate Arrays and Embedded Arrays can incorporate system blocks. These blocks include: ARM920TTM, ARM946E-STM, ARM7TDMITM, AVR® 8-bit RISC microcontroller, 80C51 8-bit microcontroller, TeakDSPCoreTM, OakDSPCoreTM, LoadDSPTM (16-bit, Dual MAC), USB (Function and Hub), CAN, PCI (33/66 MHz and 32/64 bit), 1394 (Firewire), Ultra DMA (IDE) and Ethernet 10T/100 MAC. Also analog blocks such as ADC (8-bit and 10-bit), DAC, 10T/100 Ethernet PHY, CODEC, Comparator, Bandgap Voltage Reference, PLL and Oscillators. In addition many smaller functional blocks such as UARTS, USARTS, Serial Communication Controller, SDRAM controller, SPI and I2C are available. The Gate Arrays and Embedded Arrays can also incorporate SRAM, ROM, FIFO and Dual Port SRAM.
