XDM: XC4025E part is not displayed, even though partlist.xct is correct
Problem Description:
Urgency: Standard
General Description:
After installing all files necessary to target a 4025E part (see (Xilinx Solution 1351) ), you still
cannot see the XC4025E as a target part in XDM.
Solution 1:
This is a bug in the XDM GUI. Notice you can see the XC4025 part, but not the XC4025E. You may still
target the XC4025E part by typing in the name of the part. For instance, select "Family"->Indesign.
Then select "Part", and there should be a prompt for "Select Part Type:". In the field that follows
, enter the part type (enter 4025ehq240-3 ,for instance).
If this does not work, check the file $XACT/data/partlist.xct, and see if there is a reference to 40
25E parts in it.
