Problem Description:
Urgency: HOT
The format and usage of the UNISIM Verilog simulation libraries have changed
from the previous version of the software.
The UNISIMS library is used for behavioral (RTL) simulation with instantiated
components in the netlist.
Please see (Xilinx Solution 4258) regarding changes to the SIMPRIMS library.
Solution 1:
1> For RTL LogiBlox models, the SIMPRIMS library for simulation
2> A new "unisims" library has been introduced in 2.1i which has merged the
UNI4000E, UNI4000X, UNISPARTAN, UNISPARTANXL, and UNIVIRTEX
libraries since they share the same functionallity. All devices of these families
will now be simulated using the "unisims" library.
This new organization now more closely matches the VHDL library structure. This
also has the benefit of reducing disk space, simplifying library management, and
debugging.
3> XC3000, XC5200 and XC9000 will continue to have separate libraries.
4> All libraries have been renamed to lower case - (unisims, uni3000, uni5200,
and uni9000)
5> The library locations for the UNISIMS libraries have changed to:
$XILINX/verilog/src/unisims
$XILINX/verilog/src/uni3000
$XILINX/verilog/src/uni5200
$XILINX/verilog/src/uni9000
