Instructor-Led Courses

Product Coverage: Xilinx courses will cover the latest released versions of our devices and development systems. While all available products will be covered, emphasis will be placed on the more popular and/or recommended solutions. New products are added to the courses as they become available.

Instructors: The instructors are Xilinx experts who are skilled at passing that knowledge on to fellow engineers. A dedicated Customer Education organization at Xilinx works closely with the Applications and Engineering groups to keep the courses up-to-date with the latest improvements to Xilinx and third-party tools.

Course Materials: Xilinx supplies each student with a spiral bound course book which includes all of the material covered in class as well as additional reference material.

Hands-On Experience: Each course includes hands-on labs. There is at least one computer for every two people in the class.

Platforms: The courses use PC platforms with either WIN95 or NT operating systems.

On Site (Your Facility)

Xilinx can bring the training course to your own facility for the greatest convenience to your company. On-Site courses provide additional benefits:

E-Learning

E-Learning is a new system that provides in-depth technical training sessions on Xilinx programmable logic products over the web. With E-Learning, training is organized in the form of modules. The modules are approximately one-hour sessions that focus on specific product solutions. Using the E-Learning, we can bring the training right to your desktop. This makes technical training more convenient than ever before.

(Live)

During the live E-Learning modules, participants will have the ability to ask the instructor questions, get answers and collaborate with other students, all on-line. To participate in the live session, the student simply joins a toll-free conference call while accessing a specific URL which is provided during registration.

(Recorded)

For added convenience, select live E-Learning sessions are recorded and made availabe to you at any time and any place. To participate, all you need is an internet connection. The recorded sessions are available in several formats which include Real Audio, Microsoft Media Player, and the standard internet format (.au). The required URL will be provided upon registration.

Computer Based Training

Verilog CBT is a powerful multimedia training application based on Xilinx's popular three-day Verilog class. The class has been converted into a computerized self study program that is distributed on CD-ROM. This professional learning tool delivers all the essentials for writing, simulating, and synthesizing Verilog HDL for Xilinx devices in an accessible, interactive format.
