Can I implement Hard Macros?

A case has been seen where the 2.1i Spartan-II placer crashes due to the presence of a routed hard macro in the design. This problem will be fixed in the 3.0i release in June 2000. Meanwhile, the problem can be worked around by removing routing information from Spartan-II Hard Macros. See Answers Database.
