What is a Service Pack? Service packs are Software Updates for Xilinx customers between product releases. Each service pack is an accumulation of all previous service packs since the product's release. This service pack is broken down into several files for download convenience. Please download the appropriate files. Foundation Service Pack #2 Enhancements Update to the Implementation tools New Device Data files Requirements 1.5i must be installed Service Pack #1 is not required Service Pack #1 users can also install Service Pack #2 Make sure you have at least 100 MB of TEMP space available Installation Instructions Download the Foundation 1.5i Service Pack #2 files you need into a "temp" directory. Unzip the downloaded files. Each will contain a readme.txt file and a corresponding directory. Inside the directory is an install executable. Follow the install instructions in the readme.txt. The instructions are linked below. For convenience we suggest you print out these readme.txt files. Foundation Design Entry/Implementation Update: readme.txt. Foundation Express Synthesis Update: readme.txt. Read Answer 6028 to update the Foundation Part Selector file: F15.fam. Read Answer 5923 to install the Data Files.
