RE: Next meeting

Brian, et al,

May I suggest we follow the schedule that Mentor was working to? That
is, proposals due 4/21. (Then Mentor presents on 4/28, Cadence on
5/5.)

I'd prefer to have a week to review Mentor's proposal (3 days will be
tight, given my schedule next week.)

Also, I'd like to see an updated version of the goals presentation by
the time the two proposals are submitted -- wasn't this an action for
Duaine/Brian from the previous meeting?

Finally, Cadence/Verisity can take advantage of the extra week to ensure
our goals/priorities are aligned with respect to SCE-MI 2.0. (Since we
will collectively lose a vote on the committee, we'd like to make sure
our combined company is heading in the right direction.)

In general I'd rather not delay things, but the extra week will allow
both proposals to be better prepared.

Matt

Hi John,
The dates did not change. The reason for not having the meeting
last week was to give you more time to prepare. Sorry, if there has been
any confusion. I have not heard any views about our meeting on Thursday,
so I would like to offer a compromise.
Final delivery of proposals and presentation by Monday 18th noon
time (Pacific). Then you give you presentation on Thursday 21st. Cadence
presentation on 28th.

Please let me know if anyone has any problems with this.
Regards
Brian

Brian,

Our understanding from the 3-31 meeting is that the deadline for
declaration of intent to propose was 4-7-05 and the proposals themselves
are due 2 weeks after that.

Has this changed ?
