Next meeting

Hi Guys,

    As you all know by now, we have two donations on which the SCE-MI 2.0
may be based. They are from Mentor Graphics and Cadence. I should know later
today the order in which those presentations are to be given. I have put a
double blind process in place so that all will be fair. We had originally
expected there to be three proposals, so now we have a little more
flexibility in our timing.

One possibility is to delay the first presentation until next Thursday,.
That way everyone will have 1 week to look over the proposal before the
presentation. If that is the case we can either use the meeting this
Thursday to continue the discussion about the streaming requirements, or you
can use the time to analyze the proposals in preparation for the following
week. Let me know what you think.

 

That does not alter the timing for making the actual submission which must
be sent to the reflector by Wednesday. Please be aware of the reflector
restrictions on size (Sorry, I do not know the actual limit), so if you have
anything really large, then split into multiple emails. I will be traveling
on Wednesday, so may not be available to help out with that. I should be
connected in the evening, but will have limited access to the web site.
