I strongly urge you to bring your proposal to the table now.  I had
been assuming your macro proposal was the same as the one that has
been on the ITC web site for quite some time now, but your statement
above leads me to conclude that it is probably not.  After all, your
old proposal fails the `no code-regeneration' principle and also isn't
function based on the SW side.  It is a bit of a waste of time to be
arguing function-based versus macro-based without being able to
evaluate your proposal.  I hope you understand this.
