Minutes

Hi Everyone,
    Sorry for the delay in getting the minutes out. I have been busy doing
the transfer onto the new web site. Also attached is the status for the old
IMs. It looks like we missed one in the discussion IM30 - Elimination of
implementation defined attributes. Let's talk about this one really quickly
on Thursday.

Thanks to John for sending out the latest version of the working document.
Please make sure that you have read it by Thursday. Also we are past the
point of finding fault with what is there and asking John to correct it, it
is time for people to step up to the plate to provide change proposals to
what is there. Remember that functionality at this point can only be defined
within the scope of the current document and the open IMs. Any issues or
problems found that would make the new specification problematic or
unworkable can also be raised.

I would like to remind everyone that the discussions about VHDL and Verilog
support are deferred, so let's not bring this up again at this time. They
are in the working doc, which is not the specification, and they will stay
there until we have frozen on technical issues. Then we will work on the
actual specification and if they are not resolved, it will be dealt with at
that time.

It is time to be constructive in getting this specification formulated. On
Thursday I would like to see people who have an issue that needs to be
address volunteer to put together a proposal for the solution.
