All, In Table 4-19 (p.63) of the LRM 2.2 and Table 4-16 (p.62 of the LRM 2.3 Draft 3 it is noted that I(n1, n1) will give an error, but no mention is given on V(n1, n1). I think this should be added for clarity. There are two solutions possible: - allow it but always return 0; however, no unnamed branch should be created for this. - disallow and return an error - this would be similar as what's been done with I(n1, n1). My preference would be for the second option as it would be more consistent and make it easier to attent users to possible mistakes in their model.
