Xilinx/VIEWlogic Relationship Statement Update

For the past several years, Xilinx has distributed and supported several schematic and HDL design entry packages. These packages allowed our VIEWlogic users a seamless entry and implementation flow utilizing the latest Xilinx device. Due to the growing reputation of VIEWlogic as a quality EDA vendor, it has become evident that VIEWlogic is in a better position to offer support for these packages. Customers having the Xilinx Base and Extended configurations of VIEWlogic's PC based tools have received their last update from Xilinx with the Alliance Series version 1.3 shipment. Future updates of VIEWlogic's WorkView Office package will come directly from VIEWlogic.

Future updates of the Alliance Series implementation tools will continue to be handled by Xilinx.

As a premier partner of the Alliance program, VIEWlogic and Xilinx will continue to co-develop and verify the interface between design entry and implementation to ensure quality design performance and ease-of-use from WorkView Office with Xilinx architectures.
