You can use the stimulus tool to generate a new stimulus file or associate an existing stimulus file. The default stimulus tool in Libero is WaveFormer Lite.
To associate a stimulus file, right-click the Stimulus button and choose Select Stimulus (available only if your project has stimulus files). If you have not yet associated a stimulus file, select Create Stimulus. Click here for more information on creating a testbench with WaveFormer Lite.
Use the Profiles dialog box to change your default stimulus tool.
Colors:
Green - A stimulus file is associated with your top-level module.
White - Status undefined. There is no stimulus file associated with your project.
You can start simulation even if your stimulus file is out of date. Just select the file from the list.
