The Sealevel Systems ACB-MP.PCI adapter provides the PC with a single channel serial interface suitable for many popular communications protocols. This Sync/Async card is an ideal solution for applications including DDS (digital data service), military applications, banking communications, and other specialized Synchronous/Asynchronous connectivity. The ACB-MP.PCI adapter utilizes the Z85230 (ESCC), a chip that is in widespread use. Data rates up to 128K bps can be obtained. The PC-ACB-MP card includes our Windows NT Async driver and is soon to include our Interrupt Driven HDLC/SDLC Windows 98/ME/2000 driver, Bit Error Rate Test application (SeaBERT), Terminal application (SeaTERM), and other sample and diagnostics applications. Our Software toolkit is included to aid software driver development for other operating systems by providing programming samples and source code to shorten development time. Software developers will appreciate the board's optional OEM security feature. This feature allows the developer to request a specific 2 digit hex value to be programmed into the card at our factory for recognition during software initialization. Unauthorized software duplication is virtually eliminated if this option is implemented.
