The Sealevel EMC is a general purpose memory card that provides the ISA bus PC with up to 256K of solid state storage. The memory is linearly accessible below the 1 Megabyte boundary. The EMC supports up to 256K of EPROM memory or up to 128K of CMOS static RAM. An on-board header provides a direct cable connection from the EMC to Grammar Engine products via the Grammar Engine IDC–1234 interface cable. For information on this cable contact Grammar Engine. Plug the ROMboy or PromICE directly into the EMC's ribbon cable header and utilize the full ROM space while debugging ISA based systems. ROM based programs can be quickly tested and changed via the standard serial port connection to the ROMboy or PromICE.
