There are a number of exercises/laboratories that the student will be responsible for over the course of the semester in CSCI 4717. Some of them are graded and some of them are not; some of them will be done during class and some of them will be assigned as homework. Regardless of the type of assignment, the directions for completing the exercise will be found here.
All of these documents are in either HTML or PDF format. If you do not have a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Viewer for the PDF files, download the free copy from their web site.

Be sure to contribute multiple times! This discussion will be open until October 24th. Please make sure that any information you present is factual and of merit, and do not plagiarize. Feel free to post web addresses where you found on-line information, but do not expect to receive any credit for a single sentence such as, "I found some information about PCI-X at http://...." I would suggest that you begin your investigation by reading this 2005 summary article on PCI from IBM. You may also find some additional resources through PCI-SIG (Special Interest Group), and through Wikipedia's descriptions of PCI-X and PCI-Express. |
