There hasn't been a full proposal, but briefly it is that
"handles" to objects in the simulator be C++ object pointers
which support a known set of methods as virtual functions.
The "handles" should be backward compatible to VPI/PLI.
The benefit for the user is that code can be polymorphic, i.e.
you can link your C++ code with either SV or C++, and for
implementors it makes the methods local to instances - which
is an advantage in multi-kernel simulators (internal decision
making is reduced).
