My understanding at the last meeting was that we would continue
at the next meeting since I didn't get to complete my presentation
at the last meeting (plus I was out of the office Wed->Fri last
week so wasn't able to discuss the stuff over the reflector).
I would suggest that Joao & John's proposal be put in (more like)
LRM form before we vote, otherwise we'll just be going round again
later. I havn't quite finished mine yet since I'm still including
feedback.
Not making this decision doesn't block any other issues being
resolved, and (IMO) it shouldn't be finalized until we have a better
idea of how data is going to be passed on calls.
I would also like to see an alternative proposal for linking C++
that doesn't require creating and compiling C++ stubs when you
export code to another SV/C++ compiler system, and any scheme
that isn't potentially vulnerable to C name clashes before
calling this a closed issue.
