I vote YES for accepting the reader VPI for inclusing into the SV3.1a LRM,
under the following conditions:
- the content of the s_vpi_extension in 29.9 on page 20 is enhanced to be in a non-ambigous, more
complete way. It must be obvious which functions are to be defined in which order within this structure.
We must keep in mind that the vpi_load_extension() and this structure basically IS THE INTERFACE.
- the description of the parameters and usage of the vpi_load_extension() function is enhanced; I have
provided some suggestions here, just to show where my headaches are.
Francoise, it would have been great to see where you have concerns over this document, but I really see
not major issues (besides the above two). Hopefully you can provide us this information earlier next time...
