   Folks,

David is right - please do not CC David and Stuart on technical
discussions until we finally agree on an errata. At that point,
I will be happy to pass it to the LRM editors. In case I miss
any such email/issue, please let me know and I would correct
myself. This is the best way of keeping track of issues and
   changes.

   1. As for Doug/Ralph/Andrzej's issue is concerned, let us
first decide this over email or tomorrow's meeting. After
that one of you can make an agreed upon write up for David
   to take care of.

   2. For the VPI issues, let us discuss this in tomorrow's
meeting. I would request Francoise and Joao to lead the
   discussion.

   Your comments are always welcome.

Hi Doug,

There is sufficient discussion I am no longer clear what your desired additional change should be. If you would like to get it into Draft 5 can someone please give me a clear and simple statement of the changes that have resulted from the conversation on the reflector.

Thanks

David

David,

LRM-217 looks good.

In section E.7.9, don't forget to bold "bit" and "logic" in the new text.

Our last errata wasn't handled, probably because it came in a separate

email later. It won't be a big deal if you can't get it in draft5. But if you

can, that would be good:

ADD the following to both Sections E.10.3.2 and F.1. It should be the final line in the existing comment block shown below:

" * Selected part's range in both arrays will be [w+i-1:i]."

/* * functions for part select * * a narrow (<=32 bits) part select is copied between * the implementation representation and a single chunk of * canonical representation * Normalized ranges and indexing [n-1:0] are used for both arrays: * the array in the implementation representation and the canonical array. * * s=source, d=destination, i=starting bit index, w=width * like for variable part selects; limitations: w <= 32. * Selected part's range in both arrays will be [w+i-1:i]. */

Thanks for everything, David.

-Doug

Greetings,

I have posted the LRM Change requests for all changes that have been sent to me for Draft 5. I would appreciate it if the people in the chart below (and attached PDF) would please verify their changes are correct.

Please note that the changes may not have been done exactly as requested. Also, there are a number of cases where questions were asked with no solution. I have not responded to these. Additionally, there are a number of suggested changes that may not have been implemented after consultation with the SV Champions.

I would request that only corrections to these changes be sent to me. Any additional changes or incorporation of changes that were not implemented I would like to see sent to the respective committees and handled there.

I will be sending the files to Stu so that he can get started. Please send me your corrections by Monday (if at all possible).

Regards

David
