Some of you might already know this, but I thought it
would be a good idea to let this out on the reflector.

o As per the decision taken by the Accellera TCC, SV-CC
will no longer be functional in its current activity. The
committee will go into 'sleep mode' and may be active
again in the future based on future donations. Ghassan
and I will continue to remain as the co-chair and the
chair during this time and will be responsible for
any activity that any member of this team bring to our
   attention.

o Ghassan and I will work with Karen Pieper, the chair
of IEEE P1800 Errata committee, to transfer the errata
process to her team (which I will assume will contain many
members of this team as well). Note that, P1800 team will
work under IEEE rules and not Accellera rules. Please
provide your best support to Karen's team going forward.

o Email reflector and databases will continue work as
they are today. Best of efforts will be made so that any
resource consolidation does not affect you.

o Lastly, to say the obvious, there will not be any
Accellera SV-CC meeting next week (or in the future).

Going forward, I will not chair this team under the aegis
of IEEE for personal reasons. I will take this opportunity
to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication in
the last two years and, simply for giving me the privilege to
work with such a great team.

   Best,
