1. Reviewed Patent information.

   - Charles Dawson read the patent information.

2. Reviewed minutes of the 12/01/04 Meeting.

   - Minutes showed that Stu attended, but he was not there.
     Francoise had resent them.
   - Doug/JimG. Accepted.

3. Liaisons

   - Francoise commented on Champions meeting. We need to be aware of:
     - Stu wants source file for any of the larger changes.
     - Item 50 was sent back to us for re-consideration.

4. New business

   - Item 050
     - Stu thinks that the SV-CC committee has not solved the problem with
       the backwards compatibility. We need a mandatory warning.
     - Straw poll: 6 - 4 to make a change to the proposal.
     - Stu moved to make the string "DPI" and add a default error message.
       Add the following to 27.4.4:

         Use of the string "DPI" shall generate a compile time error.
         The error shall contain the following information:

           - "DPI" is deprecated and should be replaced with "DPI-C".
           - Use of the "DPI-C" string may require changes in the DPI application.

         See section E.12 on compatible access to packed data for more information.

     Michael seconds. Doug abstains. Ralph, Steve against (via proxy prior to the
     meeting). PASSED. Doug will update the proposal in the database.

   - Item 067
     Motion to mark 067 duplicate of 265. Joao/Michael. PASSED. (Unanimous)

   - Shalom had some editorial issues with Item 303.
     Move to allow chas to work on resolving editor's questions on 303.
     Doug/Joao. PASSED. (Unanimous)

   - Francoise noted that SVDB not up to date for Items 077 and 333.
   - Two new errata: 337 and 338

     Stu commented that 337 cannot be automatically generated.
     Chas will assign.

5. Reviewed of items with proposals.

   - None.

6. Old Business

   SV-CC action items:
   - Chas to add Stu to SV-CC email alias.
     DONE.

   - Joao to setup a meeting to discuss Item 050.
     DONE.

   - ALL to review proposal for Item 333 for next meeting.
     DONE.

   - Chas to update the database for past meetings.
     Chas has (for the most part) been doing this. It seems
     that we will always have this task, so Chas will remove
     it from the action item list.

   PTF action items:
   - Francoise to remove "+" from tags in UML diagrams and
     add vpi prefix where appropriate.

     Francoise thinks this is no longer relevant.

   - Francoise to send out HTML for 1364-2001 diagrams, using
     something other than JPG for importing diagrams into frame.

     Francoise thinks this is no longer relevant.

   - Francoise to write proposals for PTF 373, 374, and 396.
   - Steve to write proposals for PTF 311, and 495.
   - Sachi to write proposals for PTF 307, 312, and 313.
   - JimG to write proposals for PTF 517, 533, and 534.

     Chas thought it would be appropriate to do a reset on these
     items, since none are actively being worked on. We can also
     track this kind of thing in the SVDB now.

Meeting ended at 1:25PM EST.

7. Action items

   SV-CC action items:
   - Francoise to ask Peter Ashenden what was done to improve
     printing from Rational Rose.
   - Francoise to inquire about the feasibility of third parties
     shipping the UML for the diagrams.
   - Sachi to drive finding a better solution for 052.
   - JimV to enter a new SV-CC item for adding tables for return values of
     the properties.
   - Doug to update proposal for Item 050 as decided on 12/22/2004.

   PTF action items:
   - Steve to compare BNF with the access available
     for attributes to see if they match
   - Stu to write proposal for PTF 368.
   - Stu to enter new PTF item for save/restart/reset issue.
   - Chas to write proposal for PTF 296.
   - Francoise to lookup wording for PTF 524 in VHPI.
   - Francoise will open a new PTF issue to look for situations like 25.6.15,
     where multiple methods are used access the same object enclosure
   - Chas to reword proposal for PTF 525.
   - Draft a straw man proposal using a clean slate with no concern for
     existing PLI/VPI on the best way to represent all Verilog and
     SystemVerilog kinds and types. This straw man will then be used as a
     basis for discussing backward compatibility with the existing reg, net,
     variables, functions, and parameter diagrams. It may be decided that
     full backward compatibility is not possible, or is not the best approach
     moving forward.
   - Sachi will file a PTF item for the clarification of what can be done
     at ROsync time and putting values in future times.
   - Francoise to file a PTF item that asks to specify the order that iteration
     occur in, when the order is important.
   - Steve to add ETF item for Annex C to remove the Informative label, but
     still allow the contents to be option
