As I repeatedly mention, I don't understand these diagrams very well,
but it looks to me that whereas there are one-to-many transitions
from gen scope to all the other objects on the right hand side of the
diagram, the transition from gen scope to gen var is a one-to-one
transition.

However, it seems to me that a gen scope can have many gen vars,
so is the single arrow correct?
