1.  Reviewed Patent information.

   - Charles Dawson reviewed the patent information.


2.  Reviewed minutes of the 04/28/2005 Meeting.

   - Minutes say meeting occurred as on 04/27/2005 when it
     was actually 04/28/2005.
   - JimV/Tapati. ACCEPTED as amended.


3.  Liaisons

   - Chas commented that there is now a draft 5 and that everyone should
     be reviewing the acknowledged items.  The committee reviewed the
     process that we should follow.
   - Chas noted the 4 new items filed by the Champions (717, 718, 719, 721).


4.  New business

   - Meeting Schedule

     Chas asked who would be able to make the meeting on 05/10.
     Tapati is available.  Ralph won't be available.
     Chas will determine the length of the meeting when we have a better idea
     of what will need to get done.

   - Michael's ideas on IP protection.
     Steve will be incorporating Michael's comments into his proposal.
     Steve hopes to have a new version out by tomorrow.

   - Items 717, 718, 719, 721
     Francoise will take a look at Item 717.
     Chas will take on Item 718.
     719 - Post elab means may already be resolved by VPI time.
     Francoise will try to do this one too.
     721 - JimV will try to do this one.

   - Issue 266
     This is the Notes problem that Cliff has been working on.
     Cliff asked the SV-CC to comment on the following:
       - 29.5.2
         This one has been resolved by Item 432.  Nothing for Cliff to do.
       - 30.2.2.2
         After discussion, the SV-CC committee recommended that Cliff leave
         the section as is.
       - 32.2-32.49
         The SV-CC committee has review the change proposal for this section
         and are okay with it.

   - We will need another meeting to vote on current proposals.  Time chosen
     was Friday between 11-1pm EDT.


5.  Reviewed of items with proposals.

   - Item 650  Program and interface access to initial, always and final blocks is not supported
     Rohit/Francoise.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 489 32.38 Need better definition of a ref obj object.
     JimV/Steve.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 465 32.19 Please clarify vpiWaitingProcesses iteration
     JimV/Ralph.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 496 32.43 No explanation for a regular assignment
     Francoise/Ralph.  PASSED (unanimous)
     Tapati to provide HTML or PDF.

   - Item 541 26.2.1 Several uses of the term 'user'
     JimV/Steve.  Motion to close as a duplicate of 539.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 539 26.1 use of 'user'
     JimV/Ralph.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Ralph moves that we direct the editor to use the term "user-defined system task or
     function" where appropriate.  JimV seconds.  PASSED (unanimous)
     Chas to write up the actual wording of the directive.

   - Item 429 Need a separate section on VPI routines
     Steve/JimV.  Move that our response be that we will resolve this in the
     next version of the spec.  PASSED (unanimous)

Meeting ended at 1:02pm EDT.

   SV-CC action items:
   - Francoise to ask Peter Ashenden what was done to improve
     printing from Rational Rose.
   - Francoise to inquire about the feasibility of third parties
     shipping the UML for the diagrams.
   - JimV to enter a new SV-CC item for adding tables for return values of
     the properties.
   - Stu to file new SV-CC item that will address bigger issue he pointed
     out in Item 321.
   - Francoise and Chas to investigate what to do for systemVerilog and generates
   - Chas/Francoise to review/change proposal for Item 455.
   - Chas to redo proposal for Item 463.
   - Francoise to clarify definition of frames for Item 465.
   - Chas to lookup definition of vpiFullName in 1364 for Item 610.
   - Sachi to rework proposal for Item 482.
   - Bassam to work on new proposal for Item 431.
   - Chas to review assignments and redo where necessary.
   - Tapati to rework Item 606.
   - Chas to update proposal for Item 425.
   - Ralph to work with JimV to fix other issues found in Item 487.
   - Michael to update proposal for Item 431.
   - Francoise to rework Item 489.
   - Francoise and Jim to rework Item 465.
   - Tapati to provide HTML or PDF for Item 496.
   - Chas to write up directive for "user-defined system task" issue.

   PTF action items:
   - Steve to compare BNF with the access available
     for attributes to see if they match
   - Stu to enter new PTF item for save/restart/reset issue.
   - Francoise to lookup wording for PTF 524 in VHPI.
   - Francoise will open a new PTF issue to look for situations like 25.6.15,
     where multiple methods are used access the same object enclosure
   - Chas to reword proposal for PTF 525.
   - Francoise to file a PTF item that asks to specify the order that iteration
     occur in, when the order is important.
   - Steve to add ETF item for Annex C to remove the Informative label, but
     still allow the contents to be optional.
   - Chas to file an Item on the usage of the term "tags" at the beginning of
     clause 27.

8.  Items for consideration at the next meeting (they already have proposals):

   - Item 528 32.21 missing iteration on type declarations
   - Item 547 32.47 two tagged pattern objects in pattern class
   - Item 458 32.13 Question on the range relation
   - Item 451 32.5 Why the need for an interface tf decl?
   - Item 450 32.7 confusing note
   - Item 377 "32.25 Module path, path term" does not reflect all the changes made in P1364
   - Item 376 26.6.6 Need to remove multiple labels on a one arrow
   - Item 437 30.4.4 Last paragraph does not make sense
   - Item 441 Annex I - Assertion #defines overlaps with object types
   - Item 416 27 - Need to not use the ambiguous term 'user'
   - Item 455 32.12.1 poorly written paragraphs
   - Item 487 32.34 Order of operands should be in 32.39
