1.  Reviewed Patent information.

   - Charles Dawson reviewed the patent information.


2.  Reviewed minutes of the 11/09/2005 Meeting.

   - Steve/Ralph  ACCEPTED (unanimous)


3.  Liaisons

   - No other meetings reported.


4.  New business

   - New mantis item 1018...  should it be same as 0733?
     jimV suggested that we should skip this one until we have a better
     understanding of typedef aliases.
     Ralph thought that an alias should be just another name for the same
     entity and didn't like that these were defined in notes.
     Deferred until next week.  Jim to talk with Francoise.

   - There is an official version of the IEEE spec on the web page now.
     Michael noted that all the Motorola people are now Freescale people.

5.  Reviewed of items with proposals.

   - Item 0785 27.55 vpiSize is of type int not bool
     Michael/Ralph.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 0733 27.17 -- inconsistent use of vpiTypedefAlias
     Deferred until next week.

   - Item 0739 27.27 Wrong outline for VPI constraint
     JimV/Ralph.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 0743 cbSizeChange vs. cbTypeChange
     Is it possible to change type?  Not really.  What about class
     objects?  Can you reassign a handle to a super class, the class it
     is derived from?
     JimV/Steve.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Item 0736 More clarifications on DPI string arguments and pass by reference
     Doug to remove the term "User".

   - Item 0738 27.28: method as parent or origin of VPI frame
     Ralph/JimV.  PASSED (unanimous)

Meeting ended at 1:05pm EDT.

   - Chas to send Abigail the frame docs for the diagrams.
   - JimV to discuss Item 1018 with Francoise.
   - Doug to reword the solution for Item 0736 to remove the term "user".
