1.  Reviewed Patent information.

   - Chas reviewed the patent information.


2.  Reviewed minutes of the 09/13/2006 Meeting.

   - Chuck/JimV.  ACCEPTED (unanimous)


3.  Liaisons

   - Francoise
     - Item 1849 formal args and sequences and properties.
       - Please read and report any issues back to Francoise.
       - Bassam explained the motivation.
         - allows the mixing of typed and untyped formals.
         - Will require modification of VPI data model.
     - Will be SV-BC face-to-face for clocking blocks

   - P1800 meeting
      - Chas asked for Frame docs again.  Johny has provided
        the 1364 ones.  1800 ones are out of date.  Send email
        to Chas if you need them.
      - Chas asked about how voting rights are effected by a
        face-to-face meeting.  P1800 committee said that you need
        to attend at least 50% of the meeting in order to keep
        your voting rights.

   - No one reported on other meetings


4.  New business

   - Agenda for SV-CC Face-to-Face meeting in October.
     - Agenda items:
       - Compatibility
       - Merging of the two documents
       - Organization of the two documents
       - Database Read API
       - Array slices
       - Typed Parameters
       - Classes?
       - Concepts in naming; terminology or language; glossary
       - Item 1593 - vpiName vs vpiFullName vs vpiDecompile

     - So far, only Abi and the Cadence folks will be attending in person.
       If you are going to attend in person or on the phone, please let
       Chas know (if you have not already done so).

   - Items 0313 and 0485 need to be closed.
     - Item 0313 - Chas still needs to address this one.
     - Item 0485 - This one can be closed.

   - Mark Item 1579 as a duplicate of Item 1603.
     - Jim had trouble entering this.  Could not get it moved to SV-CC.
     - Motion to mark 1579 as duplicate of 1603.  JimV/Abi.  PASSED (unanimous)

   - Framemaker version of the diagrams.

   - Abi's question about duplicate callbacks.
     - For value change callbacks, do you get two callbacks or only one?
       - Chas could not find anything in the LRM, but believes the intent
         was to have the same behavior as the ACC equivalent.
     - ACC was fairly clear for value change callbacks.
     - Michael doesn't think the cost of implementing a check to make sure
       that the application has not already created the callback would be
       expensive.
     - Jim found a reference in 27.33.1.1 that says they will results in
       multiple callbacks.  Why would this be put there?
     - Ran out of time.   We will continue discussing next time.

Abi/JimV.  Meeting ended at 1:05pm.

   - JimV to look into other things which can have size changes as discussed in 0985.
   - Chuck to write a document that describes the possible solutions for the
     compatibility issues, and they're pros and cons.
   - Francoise and Bassam to continue work on assignment patterns.
   - Francoise to send VCD recommendation to SV-BC.

   - Item 1579 Unused vpiMultiArray declaration in vpi_user.h
